BAUXITE, Ark (Saline 911 News) – An early morning fire Sunday destroys a school bus.
Bauxite Fire Department was dispatched to a bus fire at the Bauxite School Bus storage facility.
According to BFD Facebook page, six firefighters with one apparatus arrived to the scene and begin extinguishing the fire. The bus was a total loss prior to the arrival of the fire department. It was further reported, there was damage to the outside of the building and adjacent busses.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature; however it appears to be mechanical/electrical at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and no injuries were reported while battling the fire.
